Can anyone tell me how to remove the headlight switch with headlight angle adjuster (that's a mouthful) on my RHD W202 Elegance?
Headlight adjustment switch is hissing. I suspect it's leaking or the tubes into it is leaking/sucking in air. If I press the throttle thereby using up the vacuum so to speak, the hiss goes away.

This may sound odd but, w hiss at the adjuster means it is most likely leaking at one of the headlights. Normally the connection at the drivers Sade headlight. I have had this happen a few times.
If you still need to remove the switch. Pull off the headlight switch using a pair of pliers, with a rag in the jaws to protect the switch. Undo the nut underneath and pull the housing and adjuster out.

Cheers mate. I will try that. If it's at the headlight unit, what am I looking for?
My old W123 series was a similar set up but it looks like there is a junction next to the fuse box. I presume (it's early days and i'm not familiar with 'Lucy' yet) that there is a one way valve system which the W123 series didn't have. The headlights don't move a lot when I use the adjustment switch but that could mean it's the switch or the headlight.
Any experience of removing the door handle on the drivers side front door [insert smiley icon]? Panel removal is a cinch.

Found the source of the problem. T piece undone on the N/S headlight. Someone had used a cable tie to tidy up the adjacent loom and thereby pulling the purple tube off the headlight.
Now to get hold of my mate (£22 k he spent on a Mini!!!, the tw@t) and sit him in the car, drive around a bit and find the source of some rattles/squeaks*...
*I'm not in Essex or near Dagenham, so don't go there.
