Has anyone experience of these guys. I've just ordered brake calipers pads and discs, and had some flakey message about my card and asking for a scan of my passport... No chance I'm supplying that, but have any of you have a good service from them, they are lots cheaper than GSF or ECP

No such company exists, so you gave them your card details?

TBH after trying a couple of companies including known ones I tend to use either:
-Motor Parts Direct -Leamoco ; They rarely sell rubbish even if they are not the cheapest -ECP but with careful research ; I've been caught out before even with OE branded items -The Dealer ; yes really! I get stuff on time, generally it's correct and they now give me discount. It also has a 2 year warranty which gives piece of mind.
I'll occasionally use GSF but their prices are sometimes as much as the dealers for a lower grade part.
That said, I've used Doctor Car Parts who I'd use again as well as the Spark Plug company. I had no choice with my latest purchase.
There are some companies that I'll be hard pushed to use again TBH.

Don't forget that if the part is on ECP, it might be cheaper on CP4L, which is the same company. I needed a crank sensor for my modern, ECP started at £35 and down to £24 with a discount code, CP4L started at £22 and down to £19 for the same part. Part didn't show up on the sensors list after I selected my car, but searching using the ECP part number brought it up.

and don't discount your local motorfactors, GMF came in £10 cheaper than cp4l and ebay for some bosch wipers for my E34, under £20!

Yes, and even Halfords sometimes. Because of the weekend promo codes, when I needed a battery recently ECP wanted ~£85, down to ~£60 with the discount code. Halfords off the shelf at £52. Cheaper on eBay but more trouble if it needs sending back under warranty.
