Problem with Ebay is that you don't know what quality you are getting and often will end up with a bucket of unwanted bits, why not order just what you need from somewhere like Namricks where you can buy the exact quantity, quality and size needed?

Where are you based? Find a proper fastener company and you will soon realise what a rip off the bay of flea is..😊
Prime example last month. I need two M10x150 high tensile capscrews. Bay of Flea. £15.70. MBE fasteners- I had a sizeable handful of change.....from a fiver 😳😂

Screwfix can be good on price dependant on what you're after as choice is a bit limited

I bought a selection bag of UNF from Namrick when I was putting the Firenza together, and it was a very useful selection of sizes, not just all the stuff they otherwise couldn't sell.
I've also found Spalding Fasteners very economical when I find them at shows, not so good on price on their web site.

I use Kayfast on ebay. Quality is good, delivery is always very quick and I think the prices are good too, considering I don't have to get off my bum! Way cheaper than B&Q and the like.

Way cheaper than B&Q and the like. yeah same here - cant moan and here next day local fastener place is so so ...if you want standard stuff they're sometimes cheap , but you risk em not having it wilcos is worth a look too...can fill a bag up with washers and nuts for £1.99 , handy to have on the shelf |

local fastening place keep loads in stock and dirt cheap, however if its an odd ball one and its a Saturday ebay trawl kayfast are good

Never B&Q - Their bolts shear easier than any other.

Indeed it does depend what you need and what job its doing. I usually have a hit list of what I know I need and what job its doing and know what thread, tensile strength, head, length and material... The last lot I ordered was very specific.

I always thought the European Common Market was a bad idea. Britain joining it confirmed that for me by pretty much economically destroying what was left of the Empire.
