Has anyone else used Lancaster and had nothing but issues with them ? I've used them for years and never had any problems but my other half has insured her capri with them and has nothing but problems.
So we get a good price from them car is only used for occasional outings and shows and is locked in my converted barn garage with secure wall perimeter and 2 lots of secured gates, about 2 miles from our home. We heard nothing from them for almost 2 weeks and suddenly receive a call asking for more information about the garage, other vehicles we own etc.
After the call they say everything is fine and they will confirm it's all sorted. 2 days later another call to say they aren't happy about the garage and the car has to be kept on the drive at our home or the policy will be cancelled and have not given us a reason why. We found out then the policy was increased by £80, then receive an email today saying they need proof the vehicle is on the drive , proof we drive another vehicle (we have 4 vehicles) , all our licenses, e-proof of our licence from the government website , photos of the drive etc. It's such a huge ballache we want to cancel but will have to pay over £100. Any ideas how we can get out of the policy without paying ?
