Who is still riding BMX? Not the old school stuff but something a bit more modern. I am sorely tempted to get back into riding and rolling around with my kid. We've a big concrete area out our back so plenty of space to practice falling off. Nearly 33 now and been about 15 years since I've rode a BMX. Anyone else doing it?
Post what your riding and your age...GO!

I'm sure rmad will be here in a minute. But I do. I was 38 when I picked it up again having last ridden when I was in my teens.

Me. 36 years old and dug out the GT about a year ago, then went a bought a second hand bike via gumtree. it's great for bumming around on with my 3 year old and much easier to ride at his speed than a bigger bike. do it, it's good fun, shame I can't ride it like I once did (to many broken bits), but I'm having fun with it.

I'm 36 and still ride on and off. This is my S&M challenger, got a couple of others too and just bought my 2 year old daughter a Diamondback balance bike which is amazing.

Yes, yes I do! Currently running a custom based around a Colony Tradition frame: And racing on a Mongoose cruiser (yeah its a skatepark shot, no race shots sadly): We too have an old plonker Sunday morning ride, although I must admit I am the plonkiest plonker by far. I'm 32, started riding at 13 (racing BMX, learned to actually ride a bit before that obviously!)took a few years off in my early 20's and decided I was getting fat. Bought an MTB to get moving again but the BMX drew me back in - now I'm addicted again and looking forward to getting my daughter into it when she is ready.

I still own one, but as I could never get off the ground when younger (never worked out what I was doing wrong...), I think it can stay in the garage... grenade regularly posts vids of him and his son riding together, Genuinely don't know where he finds time with his car builds.

Next door neighbour gave me this Apollo before he moved house a few years ago for my son, he's already got two bikes so this has been left unloved down the side of the house, I reckon it's a good project for RRG17 toilet transportation 👍🏻😆

Am 40 and still ride and skate too Although ride more than skate now as slams on skateboard are much harder on the body now I'm an old bloke Instead of bouncing and getting up like I used too I just end up broken and shattered and hobbling for weeks haha I have a custom Sunday bike and also have a frame from Ben Lewis (fit bike) As he's a good mate of mine and local lad and believe it was prototype from his first frame out by fit Just love the geo and feel of the 20.5 tt Don't have any bmx pics lol

I'm 43 and still ride a bmx. modern ABD one at the moment but would like a raleigh burner one day. its just easier to jump on a bmx and gor for a trundle with my eight year old. don't need disc brakes, carbon flanges and 22,0000 gears to bomb round the village. plus they are easier to chuck in the back of the car, cost less to fix and are generally far less fragile than bikes that cost far more than my bloody cars worth.

My 10 quid Mongoose Program, brother who's into BMX tells me it's fairly decent, not halfords wibblepoo, bought to go out with the kids on so slow riding, nice an light, an slowly building confidence to try tricks I was doing 15 years ago as a kid. I'm on Schwalbe Crazy Bob's now though. And don't tell the Mrs it was in the living room

Just putting the finishing touches to this, removed the brakes as I don't need trivial things like that messing up the nice clean lines and at 46 I don't think I'll be taking it on any ramps! 😆 And yes it's in the living room (the wife's at work). 👍🏻

Well I gave in and have bought, pending collection not one but two BMX bikes, A Mongoose Article which came with a what I think is a GT Bump. Collecting them on Saturday, both need a little work, but that's party of the fun right?

Sorry I'm too old for new school (46) but I still have a 1984 piranha. Don't ride it much but my kids love it when I take them out for a ride.

Finally got it stripped, cleaned a rebuilt, for a cheap bike its actually really nice to roll around on. Think I will change the bars some taller ones and there is a new chain in the post. Otherwise its a winner and the child loves me being able to ride around with him.
