I mocked up the color scheme with masking tape to see what it would look like. I didn't want the Works blue & white scheme, so I took inspiration from this Capri. And this drawing of a pre production GT40. This is what I came up with.

I didn't turn it into paint right away, I wanted to look at it for a while... And I had to lengthen the ducktail first.

Good Morning !!!
So you do not sleep much, or am I missing a time zone difference here.
I love this build, way out of my ability and skill set but feel privileged that you are making the effort to share it with us on here.
Love the ducktail, and also the way you just continue to problem solve.

I got a cheap hydraulic handbrake off ebay, but I didn't like how crude and thin it was. So I redid the main housing...

The colors are: Satin black for the interior, including the rollcage. Because it will get black vinyl. Gray ( shiny) under the hood, trunk, wheelwells, and under the car. Because I like how that looks on a racecar. Black ( shiny) for the suspension. And white and very dark blue for the outside. Fenders riveted on. I'm leaving the rivets exposed, because I like how that looks ( if you are very careful about spacing the rivets...)
