Is it? Looked much bigger than an Accord. Well when most people used to new (esp. US spec.) Accords think an old one is a Civic...... I thought the Ascot was the Brit. Accord 5-door... with US spec Accord rebadged as Vigor in Japan... gets to confusing. Here Honda's selling the Japan/Euro Accord & the US spec big Accord sourced cheap from Thailand in a quest to be more like Toyota, & their US image... & I think they've been surprised at the relative success of the smaller, more expensive Euro Accord befitting Honda's traditional & relatively 'Premium' market image here! Not very often you'd find a leMens racer parked on the side on the road. AWESOME...

I'm not sure of the destined Honda markets for the cars but we get all of the above, used imports over the last million years.

The Ascots have a windowed C-pillar. The Mk4 Accord has a solid C-pillar, IT'S AN ACCORD!!!! The Ascot Innova did end up being Europe's Mk5 Accord, yeah, but it was a 4-, not a 5-door. Sadly we didn't get any frills like 4-wheel steering or pillarless windows.

Yeah, being driven on the road. Lots of vintage trials stuff, even a 1800s Stanley Steamer on the roads round here. Some wild old stuff.
I thought the RR badge went all black in 1930-whenever, not a half black half red business?
The '62 what was a Valiant in Aus? The Valiant in Aus was the same as the US Valiant - at least initially. If you mean that blue '62 Belvedere in Dez's thread, thats a far larger car than the Valiant.

Slightly OT but I regularly see a beige coloured Yank mobile in Grantham...You know of it? *n any further details other than "beige"? Not ringing any bells as yet 'Champagne'? I've only caught glimpses of it before...The mrs has seen it in detail. Shall text her and await details *n

Top grammar tips! Bought = purchased. Brought = relocated Lose = misplace/opposite of win. Loose = your mum

Gompo, yes that is me, gold in some places & rusty & crusty everywhere else. Also noticed Anglia, mk3 Escort & of course the camo transit. I must make the effort! Might even do it tonight, shame on me when it's only seconds away!

Is that roller in ruddington? It is indeed. In fact the two were parked less than 100 yards apart. I see the Roller a lot. It appears to be daily driven. Its also used as a "work hack" for a property business. I see it with "To Let" signs in the back, bags of cenemt and some old gates once, furniture on the roof, all sorts.

Gompo, yes that is me, gold in some places..! Cool - I've seen you about a few times around Farnsfield/614/6097 area. Sounds pretty good - a nice motor! I'm usually in a white van, have flashed a few times and will do again or wave or something. Good luck with the pics. Cheers.
