Chris. Moving questions about my spitfire on to this thread so it doesn't clutter up your Jupiter thread! I am still undecided on the best way to start my hard-top/bonnet work. Due to my very limited experience and equipment, the POR route appeared to be the best route for me due to its simplicity, but then I count the experience of others very highly, especially you, since I found your threads and saw the quality of your work. I have learned so much from reading you stuff but now its getting to the point of getting on with something and actually buying stripper, new paint, primer etc as everything I have is over 25 years old and needs chucking. I will be using an Apollo Spraymate/aerosols for the job so the simplest method is the one I will go for. You may need the sit down with a stiff drink to answer some questions or, just cut me off as one of those bodgers on a budget that cause you so much trouble in having to unpick their c*ck-ups! Thank you for your offers to help with questions. I don't know where you find the time to look after your followers and turn out your superb work. All I can do is admire the (correct) way you do it and take what I can from your posts to use on my job.
