So I was messing around with an app for my mobile which allowed you to mess with the suspension height of your car, change the wheels etc and this is what I ended up with:

Now, it's always been my plan to get this car back on the road this year but I'm really struggling with deciding on whether or not to modify it. Nothing extreme, plans were to lower it on springs and shocks 30mm and fit a set to Rota Torques, then just keep it maintained and tidy it up. But having put the before and after pics on Facebook for friends to comment on I'm getting very mixed reviews, some saying it looks smart, others saying standard is better.
I'm a big advocate of enjoying a car as much as possible because I will inevitably end up selling it on when my interests change. With that in mind I'm always thinking of resale value and a well looked after standard car will get a better reception than a well looked after modified one in my opinion as buyers can be quite rightly wary of how well said modifications have been carried out.
I will make the decision eventually but I'm just wondering what you guys think? From both a personal view and a resale value view, what would you do?
