Rare mk3 astra gsi 2.0 16v
114K MILES ..... THIS MAY RISE SLIGHTLY AS I USE IT TIME TO TIME
Hard to find in this condition.
Owner before me had it 9 years. It had full respray and new rear arches 2 years ago. Heap of history and invoices
Head has been rebuilt.
Full stainless exhaust and manifold ........ i was sold the car basically told that it was amazing and the previous owners pride and joy. they wouldnt even drop £50 on the price they were so convinced that it was such an amazing car......
however after 2 days of owner ship and getting a chance to check it over properly i found the following to be issues
driver seat insecure and frame broken......
rear springs not for an astra and every coil touching each other
front ball joints badly worn
front wishbone rear bushes worn
front anti roll bar link broken
front nearside shocker leaking
amongst other minor annoying issues
In the last two weeks I have done the following
FULL NEW SUSPENSION KIT (UPRATED SHOCKERS AND 40MM LOWERED SPRINGS)
NEW LOWER WISHBONES
NEW ANTIROLL BAR LINKS
NEW STRUT TOP BEARINGS
SOURCED ORIGINAL GSI WHEELS AND REFURBISHED THEM SET OF 5 (these are phase 1 gsi wheels ....they look better but the phase 2 wheels are with the car)
BRAND NEW TYRES
i also have 16" irmscher softstar alloys with good tyres .... i have these advertised seporate but if the car sells first i will include them with the sale
BRAKE PAD WARNING LIGHT IS ON HOWEVER THIS IS DUE TO UPRATED DISCS AND PADS AND THE PADS don't HAVE A WEAR SENSOR BUILD INTO THEM
ORIGINAL FRONT MATS
DRIVER SEAT HAS A SLIGHT TEAR
I BOUGHT THE CAR EXPECTING HASSLE FREE RUNNING HOWEVER AFTER DOING THE ABOVE REPAIRS TO GET THE CAR BACK TO A GREAT EXAMPLE I'm OUT OF INTEREST IN IT ......... THE CAR IS NOW A FANTASTIC EXAMPLE
VERY HARD TO FIND THIS CLEAN
No time wasters or silly offers
These are Going up in value now
