The MGB continues to impress - MOT time last week and a voicemail from the garage saying sorry, it failed. Popped down to pick up the failure sheet and found that all it failed on was a rear bulb, a split wiper, the indicators not flashing fast enough (actually they weren't flashing at all) and a split steering rack gaiter.
All easy fixes - most expensive part was the steering gaiter kit at £15 (but half that was postage!)
Re-test done today and passed with no advisories - got to love old cars, especially as the bloke in the queue in front of me was paying a bill for £450 for MOT repairs on his 6 year old Peugeot!
Sun was out so went for a bit of a blast in the old girl this afternoon. I had been thinking about selling it but think that if I do I'll regret it.

Yours got through MOT better than mine in that case haha! I get the feeling of wanting to sell, but summer is around the corner and this car will definitely give significant improvement to that season Just out of curiosity, what did catched your eye?

I know what you mean, I'm very tempted to hang onto it now the weather is getting better. The temptation was a 1970's Mini I saw on eBay which needed a bit of work. I'd like to build a replica of my very first car which was nothing special, just a '71 Mini with Weller wheels but I loved it This was it.....

Wonder if they would honor the "cars lifetime" warranty listed for the exhaust? Looks like a great car.

I'm extremely pleased you didn't advertise that on here. I've just sold my G Wagen, and the money's burning a hole in my pocket.
