Hey there RRers!
Just a quick note to say how dodgy this ad looks. First off, it looks like a nice car and it seems really rather cheap...that should set the alarm bells ringing. It's often the case that the photos and the text for these scam ads are taken from real adverts elsewhere on the net. It's always worth doing an image search (right click and then 'search Google for this image' on most browsers) or selecting a few lines of the text (the most specific bits, ideally) and pasting it into Google (or similar) to see if you can find the original ad. In this case it's an ad on carandclassic, where the car is already marked sold and the price is less likely to have people forgetting to use their brains when trying to grab a bargain.
Asking questions that can only really be answered/solved by the owner can help weed out scams too (as has happened below). Ask for specific photos or try and arrange a viewing - if they seem to have trouble doing those things, then something is probably iffy.
Most importantly, don't send any money, for a deposit, for shipping or for the whole amount...unless you're prepared to lose it.
A very attractive mini mayfair offered for sale which has been dry stored for the last 11 years. Prior to the storage the mini had a full body renovation together with a full glass out respray in its original Zicron blue. Panels replaced include wings, front panel, A panels etc. Rear subframe in excellent order. New chrome bumpers, grille. Brake system overhauled with new radiator. Engine starts easily and settles down to a quiet tick over. May need a carb service/tune as it sometimes hesitates on full acceleration. Interior is the original blue velour. A modern CD radio with aux output is fitted. Superlite alloys fitted. The car shows 80,250 on the clock with 9 previous owners. There is a folder with some service history with invoices from various garages. Full MOT just put on the car. A great looking Mini realistically priced to sell bit of welding needed in footwell £1000 email me at harrison19800@outlook.com
