Hi guys here is my 1996 jaguar xj6 3.2 sovereign. I am only selling as I am moving house this coming weekend and will have nowhere to store it. Failed the mot in April this year on front ball joint, rear shock bushes and front shock top bushes. I have all these brand new to be fitted. It comes with a load of spares, for example
Full exhaust system
Two nearly new exhaust manifolds (about 250 quids worth as 1 on the car is cracked. In photos)
Two spare sets of downpipes
X308 rear lights
X308 front lights
X308 boot strip in red (was going to paint it)
X300 headlights
Radiator fans
Two exhaust heat Shields for engine bay
Front set of used but nearly new brake discs
Transmission filter and fluid
Brand new pressed metal plates
Xjr grille in green
Both door mirrors in green
Spare electric aerial
Spare clocks
Spare air con sensor
Spare air con control panel
Pair of cherry bombs boxes. Was going to remove originals and weld these in as they are same size as back boxes
Spares set of keys, ignition barrel door and boot locks
All 4 door locking motors and lock mechanisms
All for door handles exterior in green
and loads of little parts
I broke an xj6 last year for parts mainly the exhaust and manifolds and the xjr grille. I have put a new headlining in. It is the foam type with a suede like material. Looks really good. Half wood steering wheel. The seats have all been changed for the cream leather ones and all the cream doors cards are in the car to be changed. Never had a radio but I do have an old pioneer cd radio that can go with the car. Changed most of the wood trim for the dark style. Got all the door ones as well. Since I have had it it has only played up once. This was due to a faulty crankshaft sensor which waw as replaced with a good second hand one. No trouble since. Drives really well. Has the boot and rear seat full of all the spare parts. Really don't want to sell but no storage means I will not be able to get it sorted. My brother is a mechanic and has said he will do ball joints and bushes next weekend after I have moved. Can get this done and mot for the cost of mot. No extra for fitting parts. Had someone come and look today but said the cost of fitting bushes and ball joints would be too much for him. Only other bad point is it has suffered some lacquer peel to the roof boot and bonnet. Have added pics of these bits best I can. Little bit of work and this will do someone good for years to come. Thanks guys. Steve.
