Well a small update -
Since working on the Cortina, my garage / rolladoor has been open to the street and the sun has been shining. This probably led to a few neighbourhood eyes looking in. Anyway, on the 22nd of October, some d!ck decided to wait for me to head out, jump a fence, fit behind my locked garage door, and raid me for a few bits and pieces. Hence the late reply - i've been thoroughly p!ssed.
Luckily, the Cortina was spared, however they did manage to nick my bicycle (lovely vintage racer), some car parts / bits and pieces, extension cords, jerry cans, tools and clothes off the line. What can i say.. I wish I was home to meet and greet them.
Anyway as of now the fuel tank is blocked to curse word. I've tried to unclog with air but it was denting outwards with the pressure! Any ideas on how to unblock a tank? Fill to full and let sit? One of the tank straps is stuck on (seized nut) so i'm not sure I can get it out at the moment. She is alive and kicking though - the Milo tin fuel tank is the temp fix atm.... sounds sharp and throttle response is snappy!!
I think a more detailed reply is in order will be around these parts later on in the week.
