New 12M MOT
Service History
Only 3 previous owners
All the MOTs
Bullet proof 1Z engine
I bought this back in February as I required an estate to move loads of bits around for a few months. I didn't realise until I collected the car that it had had so few owners (the guy I bought it off had it for 16 years!), a full service history and full MOT history (see online album for photos). To cut a long story short, I ended up keeping it much longer than I intended; it even became my daily car and inevitably I ended up doing a few bits / tweaking it to my own taste, so the car differs from a standard 80 with:
17" Alloy wheels (similar design to RS2 wheels)
Audi RS2 suspension strut inserts and -30mm springs (this is so comfortable - great for long distances).
Audi coupe quattro leather steering wheel
Audi V6 Coupe / S2 front bumper with fog light / indicator lens
Very rare inter-seat arm rest
'Gerd' (see S2 owners club) centre pod boost gauge
I've changed cars, so the 80 has only been driven once or twice over the last month. I had considered leaving it at our house in France for emergencies or stripping it for parts, but it seems too good to waste, so Ive ended up spending £300 to put an MOT on it, just to sell. For the MOT is had:
New front discs
New front pads
New front brake hoses
New front ball joint
Also included with the car will be any spares i've got such as water pump, intercooler, cooler pipework, new set of water hoses, bearings, trim, badges etc etc.
The mileage is 172k so it is not a spring chicken, but as you can see from the photos it is still a looker. Online Album - Clicky The light interior has a few marks, but is presentable enough (A wet vac will no doubt help). The boot has been de-badged and close up you can see where the badges once were, but the badges are included if you want to put them back on. It will need 2 new front tyres soon (advisory on MOT). The paint on the front bumper is not as good as the rest of the car. Of course, there is nothing better than coming to view in person to decide if you like it which can be done at postcode OX44 7ST by arrangement (Mobile: 07894139998)
I'm realistic and I know I will not get my money back that I have put in, but £1000 is the lowest I will go. I've just spent £300 (just to re-MOT) and to be honest I'd rather keep it for occasional lugging around of stuff than give it away for less. So £1000 is the price.
