It is with great sadness and regret, I am selling my beloved E30 318is - not something I thought I'd be doing. It is a 1991 H reg, just turned 91,000 miles, and has full and extensive history, recent major service where all oils and fluids were replaced + all filters, and plugs, new discs & pads at the front, completely new suspension - Eibach pro springs and Bilstein B4 shocks + new bump stops & top mounts - wheels were refurbished with 4 new Contis, new electric aerial, It has very recently had a full glass out respray and underneath undersealed. I am only the second owner of this little beauty, it was fully specced when new, with full black leather, inc rear head rests, also has 13 button obc, electric sunroof, the tool kit in the boot lid is complete - with NO spaces, and I don't think its ever been out of the boot / been used ! also the glove box torch is there, and working, the spare is a matching BBS, and in excellent condition. I don't think the back seats have hardly been sat in. This is such a fantastic car to drive, you literally don't want to stop / go home ! I'm looking for offers around £12k ! yes 12k, its not cheap, but its not a heap, its a 2 owner, low mile 318is. its going up in value almost by the day ! So, its a bargain.

Nice car!
I know these are going up in value and have been watching them closely for the last year. The highest price i had seen was Old Colonel at 8k.

This makes me smile. I gave mine away when the head cracked! If only I'd squirreled it away for 15 years.

Jings, that makes KGF prices look sane I remember knocking back a mint 325i for £800 because i wanted a Capri, that was the late 90's though. It is a very nice car though, obvously been loved and cherished, GLWTS.

Loved and cherished it certainly has, - did KGF have one of these for sale recently ? I know Old Colonial have had a few over the years - they had a white one fairly recently, but it was about 1 year older, had 110,000 miles (I think) didn't have leather - didn't even have rhr's, nor did it have the 13 button obc, and it had had quite a few more owners ! I'm only the 2nd owner of this one, and things like that do add value and desirability !! But, there are quite a few E30's for sale, and 325i Sports are sky high, even high milers. So - you get what you pay for.
On another note - W T F is GLWTS ??

Lovely looking car. Well out of my price range but everyone wants something for nothing these days and compares everything to the rusty non MOTd one they saw a picture of on ebay lol.
Good luck with selling

It looks lovely and to the right collector should sell but I still think it's way too high, £9995 would most likely draw a lot more interest. There's still quite a few decent -E30's about for £6-7k so it maybe hard to justify the extra £££, I think that's why the ford scene went mental a few years back because they just all disappeared overnight!!! Who knows, it's unique so we shall see.

Had a few "tyre kicker" enquiries - by text !! and I see some moron has posted it up on facebook - E30 zone page - only to slag it off !! usual E30 zone childish comment from these guys - who normally just jump on the band wagon to join in, and more or less copy what the 1st person has said !! Just been out for a drive in it this afternoon it really does put a smile on yer face, not fussed about selling it tbh ! just wanting to get something else, (an E34 M5) but I need the garage space - not so much the funds.

Ropey, rusty examples of E30 318is' with double the mileage fetch pretty strong money on eBay bid auctions. You could buy one of them and spend another good few grand on improving it and it'll never be anywhere near as good as this one.
Small market to find the right buyer on this one, but hardly any around in this sort of condition.

Seeing as it needs an mot, maybe get an mot on it at the main dealer or a known BMW specialist, so any interested parties have a bit of reassurance

It's worth whatever someone is prepared to pay for it...glwts and hang on for your price, nice car Oh it's worth £2000 then cos that's what I'm willing to pay for it. When can I collect? We all know it's worth a lot more than that so to me that statement is a bit daft, I know you didn't make it up and it's commonly used but it's a load of nonsense saying really. Example, to a scrap man, the cars worth £150, so should it be sold for that? To the average Joe it's a 25 yr old BMW so it's worth about £500, so that's all their willing to pay for it? We buy any car etc, £1000 maybe? but to a collector who knows his onions, rarity of the vehicle etc, it's worth perhaps £12k. Trouble is, everything has a value to the person that's selling it as well, it maybe that the seller can't find anyone to match his valuation and it doesn't sell, next move is maybe to adjust that price, maybe stand firm and keep it, so therefore it absolutely is not only worth what someone's willing to pay for it, it's worth what the sellers willing to let it go for, as it's HIS property, simple as. Sorry, sounds like ranting but it's meant in good spirits I promise, it's just one of those saying s that really "grinds my gears". Put it this way if the car was £1200 nobody would say " you'll never sell it for that, it's only worth what someone's willing to pay for it", there'd be a queue of us saying " I'll buy it, give me your bank details"!!!!

Had a few "tyre kicker" enquiries - by text !! and I see some moron has posted it up on facebook - E30 zone page - only to slag it off !! You may wish to look a little more closely, as the person who posted on FB has not said a single negative thing, let alone slagged it off. ''In fairness to seller, he can always reduce. Price too low though and you can't go up. Lots of people criticised the 325ix touring that was priced at big money but that sold eventually. Admittedly didn't make asking price but certainly made good money all the same. Added to which you'd be hard pushed to do a proper restoration job on a turd for £12k and even then it wouldn't be a mint, original.''
