Well after being on here for sometime and not actually starting any of my own projects tucked away in various garages I went out and bought another car that I actually intend to do something with.
Now this may not be all that retro or cool but I love it and at a cost of £120 can't fault it. I even got it from here in the not particularly relevant section.the guy selling it even picked me and the family up from the train station. Thanks Marcus.
The car had been originally bought for a £100 or under race at cur borough which this car won and apparently managed 130 at one point.
The car has covered 86,000 miles in its life and the interior is mint 90's awesomeness with electric windows front and back, electric sunroof, remote central locking and cruise control!
It even still has MOT left on it.
It does have a couple of niggles the drivers window wouldn't work when I picked it up and some rust was showing through on the drivers door where the window had jammed against the body work. Upon a bit of further investigating it seems at some point someone has ripped the rubber window surround off and pulled the window out of the runner but a bit of fettle get and all works as it should. The drivers mirror does not want to stay where it is and flaps around like a granny's bingo wing. The exhaust is blowing badly but I was supplied with a brand new section. However when I went to replace it someone along the way has had a pop and snapped the poxy bolt nevermind something to do tomorrow.
I have not got many pics at the mo just the one that the seller took if this gets any interest I will post more. I may even post a couple of my other projects.
