Ahh cool so just like t5 front dropping the strut through the hub and caddy rear axle flip, As with your self I was looking at vito's etc a vw vans are far more than I can afford at the mo and every thing has been done to them. I have had a few slammed vws over the years, so slamming a transit it very tempting. There is a transit local to me that's slammed with sunroof side windows rolling about.

Good point about the shocks. I'm thinking about doubling them up to stop the bounce. Also I know you can get hi top T4. But again you seen the price of them !!

What have you done to lower it, does it still have the original bumpstops?

Watch for wheel wobble at over 65mph on undrilled Land Rover wheels.
I've got a mk6 LWB 90/350 if any one is after one cheap it needs welding and I've lost the keys but cracking engine and gearbox with 145k on them, before I strip it and see what bits I can fit to my mk7.

Some days you just need to take a grinder to an inanimate object, just to make your day a tiny bit better!!

Shouldn't be doing over 60mph in it anyway.!!😉

Bookmarked I got a transit too bought land rover wheels just not the modular ones I haven't fitted them cos I thought you had to red till them now I know you don't they going straight on when it comes back from the MOT mines a smiley so a bit more of a headache to lower plus I haven't got a welder so even harder. Will post some pics of my crappy one when I get a chance maybe the photoshop whiz kid on here can give me some ideas to liven it up

The nuts on the Mk5 are tapered and won't seat properly. On the mk6 the nut has a flat back face so will tighten up on the rim face easier.. So be careful.

Painted wheels and lower half to achieve that look I'm after. Built a unit for the fridge and cooker but I'll have to upload photos later.

Finally a slammed Transit - got any pictures of the rear set up and the hub mod? I take it it's similar to a VW T5, dropping the strut through the hub?

Redrill pinch bolt hole higher up the bracket and drop the strut down through the hub more. Rear beam. Is just the brackets cut of and reweld them back on underneath the beam with long shackles on the rear spring mount to raise it all back up to a usable hight. The shackles I made are on page 1
