Hi there, this is a post regrading the reluctant sale of my 88 Bluebird. Bought it originally as a project for my first car and rather foolishly didn't consider how much I'd be spending on it as it didn't run, and ran out of funds myself.
Since owning, I've tried my best to tidy the car up in every aspect possible which includes possibly the worst paint job known to man on the front right wing, which was to ensure the bare metal that was showing didn't rust.
As stated, this sale is greatly reluctant as this is a car I've been dreaming of for many years now, and to own it, even a non-runner like this one is something I never expected to happen due to the rarity of this exact model, as howmanyleft.com stated that there are only two known cars in the UK, mine being one of them.
(Main) Bad points:
• Doesn't run!
• Isn't particularly pretty at this point
• Needs attention to just about every aspect (mechanics, interior, body panels)
Good points:
• Although it has its flaws, it's still a desirable car
• Wolfrace slot mags
• VERY rare, not only in the UK but worldwide
• Is a great project for anyone with the time and the know how
• Very sound body work, with minimal rusting.
• Garrett T2 Turbocharger
Comes with:
filler, t-cut, new brake pads, a new gear knob, a new Momo-style steering wheel, a battery (which wasn't included when purchased) and many other little trinkets which will add great detail to the finished product.
As stated, this car isn't in the best of shape but if anyone has the experience with any mechanical field then they shouldn't struggle! This listing is difficult for me due to the emotional attachment I've built with the car in the few months I've owned it, and the plans I've had for it, but as a student I don't quite have the experience, capability or funding to get the old girl back on the road... the asking price is £350 as the wheels once polished are worth £150 alone, but I'm willing to negotiate to something that will suit you better.
WILL NEED TO BE TRAILERED AWAY
Kindest regards,
Daniel
