Best of all, the bits of bodywork that are modified are all the bits that rust the worst so you've found a sensible solution to a common problem there  4x114.3 pcd means bags of wheel choice too. Ford mirrors, like the ones eurogranada used on his Granada would probably work a treat proportionally too. Colour you've picked looks a lot like a 70s Saab metallic green I've forgotten the name of and is a great fit for the design. Maybe a cheeky little side exit exhaust blended in to those chunky sill extensions rather than the standard McDonald's milkshake straw that sticks out the back. |

I’ll have a go at rear 3/4 view but was thinking led rear lamp arrangement in existing shape, de bumpered with some form of plastic diffuser at bottom with exhaust exit in it (think Renault sport Clio or similar)

Finished’ish Nice work! The bodykit really suits the shape and gives it a genuinely modern look, and less like an updated classic. If it were real I'd like to guess many wouldn't recognise it. |

Thanks! My brother came round yesterday and saw the front end sketch and I asked him if he knew what car it was, he said he thought it was a mk2 escort when he saw it upside down but as soon as he turned it around he said it’s a princess.
Have tried not to alter any of the metalwork on the sketch, other than a wheelarch cut and cutting the rear valance for the wheelarch moulding and rear diffuser to fit, and narrowing the rear lamp apertures to fit slimmer led rear lights. The rest would just be cosmetic (de chrome, de vinyl, updated lights/grille/mirrors etc)
