New project this I don't have any pics yet but will update once I get going properly A while ago a Honda s2000 came up for sale on this forum with no engine It was on here for over a month and was within 10 miles of my house I tried so hard not to buy it But in the end I could resist no longer It's turned out to be a bit of a gem with adjustable bilstiens new ferrodo track pads and disc polly bushed throughout
I already had a Volvo 760 t with a 182 hp turbo engine So it only seems natural to graft them together
I started to strip the Volvo selling a few bits as I went I needed to get the engine loom separated from the rest (what a job that was) And today removed the engine from the car
So the plan is Volvo engine with Volvo M90 gearbox and a manual boost controller and chip in ecu And use as many Volvo bits as possible to make the conversion reliable

This sounds very interesting, I will be following You can get a bsr chip that gives the b230et an extra 60hp and an extra 50nm en.bsr.se/tuning-kits/t/757The ET will have weak 9mm rods though so if you are tuning it then I would invest in some stronger connecting rods. 13mm ones can be had from the later FT or H beams are available from America.

Yes I found bsr and will be investing once it's all up and running as I understand it the rods should be fine with there stage one and mild boost increase

Too many projects, not enough time.

Managed to get some time on it yesterday with a mate And it now runs But not very well suspect fuel pressure fault but ran out of time Gonna fit the Volvo fuel pump and filter tomorrow and just use the s2000 pump as a lift pump So when it's moving around under its own steam progress will be a bit quicker
