Good aren't they,a bargain for those who know and look past the general publics opinion. I'll argue the case for the K series being a great little engine all day long ! Get some pics up in here,i'd like to see it for one.
Got me hankering after a ultra low miles giffer owned 45 now !

I'd do the same w/r the k series. For an e fine designed in the 1980s, its remarkable.
Revvy, potent in the right bhp guise, yet frugal and quiet.
On tickover my ZR (as standard) was silent compared to friends cars at the time. One had a forecourt fresh fiat stilo 1400, and my 90,000+ mile ZR was much quieter.
Well, until I put a Janspeed 4branch and full ss exhaust on it, all with one quest, bhp.

Sorry chaps been so busy!
Done a Manchester airport run after a service and it was a pleasure! aside from a suspected seized caliper.. Which, due to funds, has rendered the car off the road.
Surprised many chavvy euroboxes with it without really pushing the engine. I'm there laughing at them with my green hair and leather driving gloves (a must now I drive a Rover haha)
Easily beat an A3 tdi.. Think it was the 1.6.
Will get you some pics up soon.
**Go K Series!!!**

Weirdly, after the induction kit, 4 branch, and ss exhaust... I'd get 45-50mpg at 85mph whereas at 65-75mph I got 37mpg. As opposed to caning it, when I'd get 25mpg. Cracking cars.

A friend of mine had one, 1.4 K Series, it was ridiculously nippy and just revved forever, it was also seriously abused and never hinted at letting go which surprised me as I'd always been told they were made of chocolate and a HG was a service item, definetly not the case with that one anyway.
