I honestly expected Eddie Jordan to be an arrogant bell. (I've seen him on TV before).
Plesantly surprised to find him quite humble and willing to be part of the fun.
Again loved Leblanc, Evans just needs to calm down and be in it less.

Whenever Chris Evans is involved, it doesn't take long for Texas to get involved. Just like it doesn't take Cerys Matthews long to mention Tom Jones.
I bet it'll be the housemartins before the end of the series.

Interesting to note the episode of Antiques Road show that beat TG viewing figures last week was a repeat.

I surprisingly enjoyed ep2, they really do need to do away with the star in car part. Hated it then hate it now....rallycross part of track could be pretty good with a decent car.

Steady on sonny Jim, lets not going assuming that people are idiots because they present another point of view i didnt say anyone is an idiot, i said you you don't present as one, so it shouldn't be too hard to avoid misinterpreting my replies, repeatedly again, i've seen people state they wont even watch the new series because clarkson isnt in it, that is almost the definition of prejudice. hot air, maybe, but they arent alone. This is also history repeated, when people set eyes on 2002 top gear expecting a serious magazine show about class leading boot space and lumbar comfort. i don't see a national crisis, you quote me, i reply, you started doing that at 5pm yesterday, that's how notifications work. just to clarify, which shouty 50 year old who still thinks he's 18 are you talking about ? if you mean clarkson or evans, then yes to both

Again loved Leblanc, Evans just needs to calm down and be in it less. Personally I thought your first opinion was right and found him just as shouty and annoying as Evans... I don't have anything positive to add so heres a McLaren PS, I would happily watch LeBlanc and Tinie Tempa again, and I don't particular like Tinie. But they worked well and he appeared to give the Jag(?) a good thrashing.

I've been debating this with someone on another forum. I like it (or rather, have no massive issues with it), he absolutely hates everything about it. It turns out that he's only actually watched the first five minutes of episode 1, and all of his opinions are based on that and what other people have told him.

If you ask me its far more watchable than the old one. Still silly but I enjoyed both episodes so far and i'll be watching the rest. Same with TG extra. Clarkson and gang were pretty cringe worthy by the end.

watched both the extra gears last night.
i have to say the biggest U turn i've done out of any of them is eddie jordan. eccentric, fearless, witty, sharp, slightly clumsy but ultimately lovable granddad type figure.
hope to see more of him!

I once saw Eddie Jordan eating a sandwich in Ibiza.
I've not watched Top Gear yet. It'll only be good when I'm presenting it.

I once saw Eddie Jordan eating a sandwich in Ibiza. You should print that on a t-shirt.

I haven't seen the Extra Gear episodes as I assumed just repeats of sections of the show. If it isn't, and it sounds like it isn't, I will try to watch on catch up this weekend.
