Retro Rides is going a bit French
Join us at our Chateau from the 7th to 10th July for the Le Mans Classic. Experience one of the finest car events in the world, one that only comes around every two years. A short drive from the circuit will find you at Chateau Rive Sarthe, beautiful peaceful ground, an idyllic river and a local town that isn't totally over run means you get the best experience possible, the circuit nearby, but the ability to escape and recharge so you can make the most of your time at Le Mans Classic, and you won't get gouged on food prices! We teamed up with people that have been running events at the Classic since it started in order to get the best situation possible.
There is still time to book your tickets, grab a cheap ferry (Newhaven to Dieppe, Dover to Calais, or whatever works best), or Eurostar. Even better grab a few mates pile in the car and split the cost of the journey. Come in your retro if you can, if not come in your daily, either way make sure you come, Le Mans Classic is a pretty unmissable event. We can even make it super easy and have a pre-erected tent for you on site when you arrive, two sleeping compartments and a large middle bit, we'll provide air beds for the two compartments, but you can probably sleep four up.
24 hours of circuit action takes place, a full range of classic machinery takes to the track and this year they have huge grid of Group C legends for the first time. A club area that is worth the price of admission alone, or head down into the paddock (need to buy tickets in advance for this area) and get up close to machines you will only ever see at this event. It should be on every petrol heads bucket list, and we're making it super easy to go with like-minded folk.

Gathering at the Chateau
If you know people that are already going to Le Mans Classic make sure they know about the Retro Rides Gathering at the Chateau on Friday 8th July. We figured we've got a lot of people with a lot of cool cars in one place and the circuit can be a bit of a circus, so a short 15-20 minute trip from the campsite along some lovely road and through some quintessentially French villages will see you at our Chateau. We'll have food and drink available, a place to all park up together and check out the various cars that have come. It is a wonderful place to spend some time and a perfect photo op outside the Chateau. We'll open up at around 9:30am and keep going as long as people want us to (last time we were still there until the evening).
