Some older cars, 1920/30's did use bike tyres but then the cars weighed very little and top speed was 40 and that was only down a very steep hill I wouldn't use bike tyres on a modern car. That describes the Acty pretty well

The ones on said trailer aren't the skinny type that you get on those Halfords trailers, these would equate to 165 width. So I doubt there is much chance of them popping off the rim, or skipping on hard turns.
BUT, having never fitted trailer tyres to a car, I honestly couldn't tell you what it would handle like. I've have normal road tyres that have made a car handle like curse word.

Well I pioneered using trailer tyres on cars a number of years ago as you can't buy 10inch tyres in a decent profile. I would describe them as safe but not particularly grippy! They have stiff side walls that gives you a nice predictable handling but less actual grip. The tyres in question are 195/50/10 tho so sounds way too wide for your application.
