That's a great video and I could easily have sat through one twice as long.
Just after you started your cable car ride at the end your camera passed over a Hillman Minx estate in the parking lot to your left, which is a rarity over here, which surprised the hell out of me.
Loved the idea of you using a Studebaker on one of your future builds. I've always had a soft spot for them.

IRS, don't they take your money ? IRS is good for road holding and general road going manners, but worst for relative axle articulation, although the durango is a softrader suv though right ? solid axle probably "designed" by accounts department rather than engineers, reliable, tried and tested, cheap, easy to maintain when you said "motor", reminded me of the old lingo comparison. in uk/europe, this is a motor what you have is a V8 engine sir

It's at 23:37 on your video and is a later model than the one in that craigslist link. Like this but in green. Sorry to hear that the two possible trucks fell through but I'm sure that something even better will turn up.

When us hillbillies say "motor", we mean anything that produces power. Electric or petrol. But yeah- I try to use "engine" because the British vocabulary just makes more sense. Our grammar school rules and lessons have allowed slang and the integration of a mash up of words from all over the globe to skew the Queen's English. Those bastards lol

Yep, I have another truck. I was out riding BMX all day today, travelled far into Michigan to ride in the 95 degree (F) heat. It was brutal. We had fun, it's about 1:42am our time and I am a bit dehydrated, sore as #@$!% and tired as hell. But yeah, I'll get an update tomorrow, things are happening

95 degree (F) heat....that's not hot. That's a nice summers day here in Brissie mate. Looking at your photo's I am about the same vintage as you are...in our extreemly late 20's I like to call it. Spend all day yesterday on the mountain bike...I am still sore but a good night sleep did wonders. Looking forward seeing your "new" truck mate!

I was going to start cutting up this truck straight away because I have a Hemi chassis ready to go, but I stuck a battery in this thing and it fired right up. The undercarriage was restored, rebuilt engine, brakes, axles- everything. The body just needs a bit of paint & bodywork and this one will run and drive. I'm thinking this is too good to cut up. Repainted and on the road, it has significant value. I'm considering my options while I get back to my job this week and finish the giant ramp that I started building. The truck can sit for a few days. Meanwhile, have a listen, I'll get better pics later today I put on this video that the running 1951 international chassis is for sale, but nah- I think I'm going to put this back on the road:

I say go for it. Another body will present itself. And if someone has put a ton of work and money in already. why waste it?
