Seen the new Ford Ka "bimbet" edition comes with something which when you kinda squint, in the half light, when the car is wizzing past you, look like Minilites. can't find a photo as they ain't on Ford website and I canna be arzed to google. You can imagine what a Ka on badly fake Minilites looks like. Just don't eat cheese at the same time. You'll get nightmares. And not the good kind.

I saw one of those yesterday on a local Ford Dealers forecourt. I have to say the wheels did confuse me. It was a dark blue Ka and the minilite style rims IMO I thought it looked alright!....
....maybe some venoms would have been better!

Mmmm. I spotted this in the local rag "ALL NEW [sic?] KA with Minilite wheels, just £6995 easy credit etc"
Not disliking. But not approving either. Get some +/-0 et deep dish superlites and sort the air in the wheelarches though and it's a whole different ball-game.

My objection to them is that they are fake Minilites which look like fake minilites, if they had bought some actyual Minilites or better yet Superlites and whacked them on then yeah, why not. But OTOH, they sort of suit the car. Look better in the pic I think, they look well plastic up close.
In 5 years time I will be fitting some to a 100E or something and you can all remind me I said this when I try convince you that they look OK.

don't like superlights, the centre section where the nuts are is to big.

Volvo back as my main squeeze, more boost and some interior goodies on the way.

I like the shape of the spoke better though. The Minilite is like a plate of artfully displayed sausages in comparison.

don't like superlights, the centre section where the nuts are is to big. Agree. specially in big sizes Yeah konig rewinds or summat like would be nice on one of these . Except I'm yet to find anty in 4x108 , Ford have the Powaar to make nicer effort wheels than them by the sounds of it, so why not. the old range got wolfrace, ronal and stuff IIRC

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts
