MJK709L seems to be the well photographed red one but google images throws up a silver Euro plated car from this very forum here (is it a Regis? The back end looks different) and a blue one hidden in the back of a workshop.

Registered Q plate but never been completed ! - so it's with the reg that belonged to something else.
Interestingly that the log book states Swindon Sportscars as the manufacturer. I happen to know the then MD of that company quite well and pretty sure they never built any Regis Mohawks. they had the rights to old Sylva models.
Buyer beware on that overpriced plastic wrapped pile of old Ford parts.

I was looking at an ad for those the other night in an old Which Kit magazine, I wondered what it looked like from other angles! Now I know!

Elements of Isuzu Piazza and Mk2 Scirocco It looks to me as though they were copying a lot of styling cues from the Eclat / Excel, missing the pop-up headlights though!

The only model specifically linked to Swindon Sports Cars on the Sylva page is this ugly duckling, the Leader, which I imagine would have used a narrower space-frame of an entirely different profile to the Mohawk?

I really like that Mohawk, the front reminds me of some sort of Aston and one of those Alfa things. From the side its quite unremarkable, but still looks good. It needs a good set of proper wheels and a slam and it would be sorted. That yellow one looks like something that fell out of a cracker.

this car is now being stripped of its shell the chassis and running gear will live on probably under a hotrod body model a coupe Only 3 of these left, this example has never been completed or driven. There must be hundreds of model A hotrods in the UK. Seems a bit moronic to me!

Side on it looks like a ginetta g31 with a nose job Having helped someone build a G31, I'd say the same and the interior with the tube to mount the dash onto is another giveaway. Used to happen a lot in the kit car world, an older model sold on and resurfacing as someone else's new model with slight changes.
