Latest update could go either way... I've just bought these for £32 - They're advertised as being for an Acty but 4x100 PCD so I'm hoping that they've got the PCD wrong. They're 10" diameter so trying to judge the measurements on the photos the PCD looks more 4x120 to me. I've bought them via my usual Japanese auction agent so if they do end up being the wrong PCD I think I'll leave them in Japan rather than pay for shipping. I have thought about getting a new plate welded in the centre and drilled at 4x120 - don't think they can just be redrilled as the reverse is a X design rather than plain O - Any suggestions? MrSpeedy ? If they are useable then they will get banded but not too much as I can get more lows if I don't poke.

Hmmmmm. They look as though they could have the centres swapped with donor wheels. There's a nice raised section that could work well for doing that. It's not a quick job though. Are wheels for these really that difficult to find?

Are wheels for these really that difficult to find? Think I'll leave them in Japan then if they are 4x100. They're pretty much exclusive to the Acty so only available when there's one breaking. Dare say I'll go down the custom route any way if a set doesn't come up cheaply soon.

Just actually looked through this.
I have such wants for a little van like this. Looks like you've got a little minter* there
*pun intended.

Cheers, well it's got holes and dents here and there but it's solid underneath and I'm willing to see it as part of the family so won't worry about spending cash on fixes even with the knowledge that I'll never get the money back

So it turns out the wheels were 4x100 after all - apparently the 4wd Acty uses 4x100 and the 2wd Acty is 4x120. Back to the original plans of custom wheels then! In the meantime a couple of my favourite "features" on the van, first up is this nicely aged alarm sticker ... And then we have a number scratched into the dash top, I'm guessing this is the padlock code on the gate where the van used to ply it's trade...

if the 4wd acty is 4x100 could you not swap the hubs over then there will be plenty of wheel choice for you

remember seeing one of these in a custom car/street machine mag' years ago, fitted with a vw variant? motor iirc it was because the variant? had the fan laid flat instead of upright. although finding one nowadays may be a bit tricky? Yep, it was July '85 issue of Street Machine. I have a copy. Doesn't go into that much detail, but the garage that built it still exists. I contacted them out of interest and they gave me a bit more info.

Just thought I'd point out that classic Minis are 4x4" (4x101.6) so would fit some lovely retro 10s on there with wobblies. Reckon that was written by a primary school kid by the looks of it. Perfect size drivers for an acty...

Just WOW.....!!!
And I thought I had a problem with my wife persisting in saying "bought" when she brings stuff home and "brought" when she spends my cash.
I suspect you have a winner there..... Great for Facebook.
