Still in awe at how clean your car is!! Love the retro stereo setup, Boschmann speakers are decent. And for that price you can't go wrong! Cheers mate. And you're definitely correct about that price! Three seatbelt mounts in the back? Quite ambitious haha It's more spacious than you might think  My dads friend is a car dealer so rode around in many Mk2 Fiesta's most notably a red Xr2 with the rubber spoiler, skirts and pepperpots. I love these little motors my dad brought my sister a MK1 in red in 2000 for £75 and a mint metalic panda for £50. She chose the Panda but I do wish he kept the Mk1 for me in storage. Would definitely have been worth holding on to seeing their value now... |

Fantastic car mate  one of my friends had one very similar to this when we all got our first cars growing up - it was so cool and they stand out in a car park these days which is more than you can say for most first cars! The OCD cleaner in me says you should give it a good thorough cleaning, that paint colour would look amazing under a few coats of wax  EDIT: this is why I shouldn't post anything before my morning caffeine intake... I missed 3 pages of comments/pictures  good work getting the odd bits fixed. Do you have any more plans for it? |

Only jobs left to do now really is get the CD player wired up, new speakers installed (when they arrive) and fix the switches on the far right of the dash, then it's pretty much how I'd like it |

Another job done today, new water pump fitted. Old pump, the bearing had deteriorated and the gasket was nonexistent (original pump)    New pump nicely nestled down in the engine bay   Topping up the coolant!  Interestingly, when taking the radiator off, we found this piece of plastic - presumably from a wheeltrim, but not one of mine!  |

That's a really lovely example. I had a Maritime Blue mk2 1.1L when I passed my test, F146GSA, it had started to rot around the front of the back arches even back in 1997!
Seeing your pics brought back a lot of memories.
My 1.1 was dog slow, so a 950 must be interesting in modern traffic!
