that is seriously clean, whens the zetec turbo going in! Not for a while Luxury, pure unadulterated luxury. We had the Popular spec 950 as our second car. No rear wiper, no parcel shelf, no switch for the cooling fan (it ran all the time). They are a hoot. Just don't push them too hard in the wet though, they have a fairly lively tendency for the front end to ignore the direction the wheels are pointing. I know this after several adventures into the undergrowth ending in a final encounter with a lamp post. Will keep it in mind cheers mate

That's what I miss about my 190E 2.6! Manual windows, manual climate control, and basic lovely checkered cloth interior!
My 500SE is actually one of the least optioned 80s S-classes out there, with only the additional option of AC! The electric windows were an aftermarket retrofit (poorly done in the rear doors). Otherwise everything else is manual, and there's no sunroof.
I find that often times, less is more, and basic automobiles are often much more luxurious because they have all you need and nothing you don't!
Love the new shots of the interior! I'll have to come across the pond and take it for a spin!

Here's some more interior shots (will reattach the rear view mirror soon, and clean the mats too) We took it out for a quick drive to the seaside and back today, drove faultlessly, and got some looks!

Wow how clean is that?! Some nice xr2 pepperpots will suit it nicely and maybe a little drop - did the xr2 have lower suspension out of the factory? If so think I'd just fit xr2 suspension along with pepperpots and enjoy it.

Thanks bud, I'm going to keep it standard height for now to keep the insurance as low as possible, but might drop it a bit after a few months. That is pure perfection...! Thanks mate. Couple of recent photos, finally reattached the rearview mirror!

This is lovely, Makes me want another one very much. If you haven't already, check out the Mk1 and 2 Fiesta owners club on Facebook. By far the best source of info I've ever found when it comes to old Fiesta's.
