I remember seeing these a lot as a kid growing up in Germany in the 90s. Looks like a well-kept example! No frills motoring right there. Some cars are meant to stay the way they are, and this is one of them! Wheels, center console, and a head unit are no biggy

Luxury, pure unadulterated luxury. We had the Popular spec 950 as our second car. No rear wiper, no parcel shelf, no switch for the cooling fan (it ran all the time). They are a hoot.
Just don't push them too hard in the wet though, they have a fairly lively tendency for the front end to ignore the direction the wheels are pointing. I know this after several adventures into the undergrowth ending in a final encounter with a lamp post.
