Long time lurker; please see for sale my X registered Jaguar S Type that I had as a winter hack, for when I wasn't brave enough to use my MX5 on the daily commute!
I don't need this anymore and don't have the room, so off she goes...
Mileage: 117,000 odd miles with an auto box! MOT until 27th July 2016.
Engine: 3.0 Petrol V6 (averages 25mpg with a heavy right foot)
Service History: Yes, Jaguar/independent stamped upto when she was 9 years old and in the last couple of years serviced by the old boy I bought her from...she has the history file, a nice brown leather docket 'stamped' with the big cat!
Good bits:
4 relatively new tyres, no mark brand but all well above the legal limit!
Pulls well, sounds nice and drives well
Heated seats, electric mirrors, Jaguar CD changer in boot
Externally is really clean looking
Bad bits:
Front n/s wheel bearing - I believe - is worn. Makes a whine when driven/on full lock. Doesn't affect the driving, I've put 2,500 miles on her in a couple of months, around town, motorways and country lanes without issue!
Battery - this is currently dead! Jump started it and it was in 'safe' mode; turned it off, half hour later battery was dead again!
N/S mirror doesn't fold in using electric button.
So in short, come and jump her, drive her away in 'limp' mode, or trailer her away, get a new battery and I believe you'll have her back to normal!
Why am I not doing this? I don't have the time or space, so it makes sense to get rid and move her on...
Bag yourself a bargain, I'm sure you'll agree for this money she really is!
