Hi
i have for sale a Sierra 2.9 4x4. Approx 78000 miles on the clock with genuine RS wheels. Body work is very solid apart from some rust on the sills and so may need new. Could be a lovely quick cheap ride for someone or quick project especially since the XR4 versions are now silly money. Doesnt currently run as i think it has a fuel pump fault but il try to get it running this weekend. No Mot and has been off the road since 08.

Dead common thing on the sierra was the inertia cut-off switch in the spare wheel well getting set off by lobbing the spare in too hard or something, corroding up if water in the wheel well etc., you may already know about it so sorry if I'm trying to teach you to suck eggs, but you may be able to reset or temporarily bypass it to fire it up, might help with the sale?
Wish I had funds, storage, time or even just one of them, I would take it off your hands!

No probs, happened to me on two sierra's, you will see the inertia switch easy enough, like i said, bypass it just to try it, but it wouldn't be very safe leaving it bypassed, good luck, hope it helps

Well bit of an update. Got her started today. Runs great. The fuel pump has gone and so run it without it.
