Yes the wheels get my vote too. Good to see one of these getting so well maintained.

Had to do a double take on that last picture. Will have to keep an eye out for this driving around.

Recently spent some time fixing a few small issues. Resoldered the dash as some of the lights weren’t working, all ok now!! While I love the steels I had to change my insurance recently and I couldn’t have any mods so I sold the steels to a great guy on Instagram and put the original alloys back on which I really like anyway. With the steels Back on originals (with Michelin Cross Climate tyres) I’ll be selling it soon so trying to get it really nice for the next owner, want to try something different. I’ll probably get another Volvo one day as the owners forum is really helpful and all the other owners I’ve met are fantastic. Would like a c30 one day but I reckon my next car will be Japanese.

Just noticed all the picture links are broken, sorry. If I ever get time I’ll try and fix it.

I had a 940 sports with a manual ages ago and liked it and went through loads of cars after but recently found a very cheap 940 auto, I forgot how great these are. The auto is fantastic then space and you must know how great these are to park as the turning circle is wicked.
They are good cars and it looks like yours is a well looked after motor.

Yes it is a really good example, thanks very much. Considered selling it a couple of times but its so useful and we love it so much, instead I've been spending bits of money on it to improve it all the time.

Thanks. Recently done a full machine polish (well worth buying all the kit to do it) and I’m back buying bits to improve it - new lights, wipers and other bits to make it look and work better than standard.

I don't have them anymore unfortunately as I sold them in advance of selling the car but then didn't sell the car  They were 17"x7 Citroen C6 spare wheels, fitted perfectly with only a 5mm spacer needed on the front. I had them powdercoated silver. Not easy to find as they only brought 800 C6's into the UK IIRC.

So I found that one of the rear lights was cracked on the outside and the bulb holder clips inside were quite brittle and had started to break. I have considered for ages to replace the rear lights with ones from a V90 or sporty 940 edition which have clear indicators which look a lot nicer. However whenever someone is breaking a car they are always snapped up quickly and aren’t ever in perfect condition. Luckily I found these on eBay:
OR these more standard looking (but miles better than mine)
Now I was tempted by the clear ones after seeing cars like this...
BUT I'm going for a more OEM plus look not full pimping, so I went for the clear/red versions. I would have to fit some red reflectors to the car to stay legal (and to stop someone punting me from the rear when I'm parked on a street at night) if I went for the clear ones which kinda defeats the object and I don't think they'd as good on a dark car.
I finally pressed the BIN button when I got a 15% off voucher for eBay so they only cost me £68 for the pair.... I have had them a few days but the Diadem bulb for the indicators hasn't been sent from the seller I bought them from until today - 10 days after I ordered them - grrrr.
