	I was so sick of being locked up at home I chanced it and took the dope out for a quick cardboard disposal trip. Something clutch related is sticking and causing the clutch to drag but if I pop the pedal it grips hard again. Still cool as to drive in even if it smashes your teeth out and sounds like its about to fall apart 😂

	So as I'm so hardcore with my lowering , and especially after yesterday's teeth rattling I decided to swap out my modified front bump stops for some proper conical items to make it a little more progressive on the stops. Yes I run on the bump stops, don't hate too much. I need to take it for a spin but it seems a lot more forgiving when bouncing on the car, win in my book 👍🏻 I did have some pics but my phone decided to corrupt the images

	traveller skills engage. My front arb drop links were knackered, bushes are available for them but as always I was bored and couldn't be bothered to order them and wait 2 weeks for delivery. Enter tiger seal and some fresh rubber. Also pics of the old and new bumpstops.

	Took her for a 10 mile run down the country lanes and WOW! such a massive difference in the drive now, actually quite comfortable in comparison to how it was and relatively quiet too. No more rattling drop links, that was until the trip home when a metal on metal sound appeared. Quick inspection on the drive and one of the inner arb bushes was so worn it had pushed out of its clamp. I think sorting the drop links then put the stress on them. Another small thing to sort.. all fun and games.

	If I had some spare material that was acceptable I would of made some of them too but I think I will end up ordering new. they are cheap it's just postage I hate... theres a few little other bits I could do with too so it will make it a little more acceptable. Loving driving it though, its worlds apart from how it was when I collected it though it all looks the same 🤦🏻‍♂️ Started looking at another thing i want to do soon. I really want some wider rear wheels, but rather than band them I'm looking at re barreling them. Remove the centre from one of my wheels and then place it into a wider barrel. Pulled the tire off the spare already so will now look at removing the hub part. Fingers crossed.

	So on my dauphine spare the center is plug welded to the 4inch barrel. The r8 wheel I have looks to be riveted/welded. Any way the part I wanted was easy to remove from the barrel. Drilled out the welds and tapped out the centre, nothing too hard. Just need to find some 6inch wide 15inch steels with the correct size centre for me to do the same too. I measure it up at 13 7/16 needed.

	A fair bit done today, door seals turned up yesterday so I cracked on with making them fit. Originally the dauphine ran 2 seals one on the door and one on the frame. I just hacked up some r5 ones to suit. Should stop the doors rattling a little and keep the water out. That done I decided to sort the interior floor with some por15. It had been painted previously but where the water had collected under the rubber mat it had started to lift. Quick rub back and the cleaned prepped and painted. Should help it last a while now 👍🏻 also whilst doing all this I managed to sort a niggly issue where the rear doors wouldnt lock. Easy fix and now the car is a little more secure. Day of win.

	Note to self, when quickly repairing the seats frame make sure you shield it very well and have a hose to hand. The 60 year old seat and the hay/hair mesh that's inside lights very easily and burns quickly.........🤦🏻‍♂️

	What width are those wheels Adey? Estafette are 5” standard if that’s wide enough.

	Yes 5x15”. I think they would probably fit straight on or you could just use the hoop if your going to reverse rim them with your disc. There’s a guy on the Estafette FB page called Elliot Harrison who would have some. He trades as My Estafette or the Estafette Emporium. Essex based I think.
