That's a very naughty thing to do Chris! Loved that video showing the balanced 6-cylinder BTW. Of course, I am gonna have to have a go myself now. Love the Corolla too, there are such bargain cars at the mo. Nick.

Love the Corolla too, there are such bargain cars at the mo. Nick. I swear I told her that it was Sorn'd. Perhaps my presumption that she knew what Sorn'd means was off the mark. She says she doesn't remember, so we'll, erm, leave it at that I think.... No tricks, blue tack, super glue, prayers or spittle involved in that video....it is genuinely that smooth idling. The Corolla is just one of those cars that is great to have on the drive as an back-up. Always starts first time of the key and just goes where you point it without fuss. Perky little 1.3 engine with the manual box, air-con, electric windows, power steering, central locking, velour and looks like a frog from the front....what's not to like?

As above, really like it, the subtle changes go a long way. A fella on my mum's road had a white one a few years back, only one I've seen so always assumed they were personal imports.

I am partial to a nice R32, but apart from that, Skylines, Scoobys and Evo's just don't do it for me. It's just that love for the unloved that I can't shake.

Looks sweet, will keep my eye out for you on the road as just down the road from me in Redcar. Been following this for a while, just realised all the pics are taken at local places

Long shot, I know but was your mum living in Peterborough at the time? I have owed a white Max (build thread on here) for the past 11 years and during that time I have never seen another white one.

If you get to car shows around the area, you'll no doubt see me throughout the Spring and Summer. I plan to get it to loads this year.

So, after Julie unwittingly took the Maxima out the other day while it's Sorn'd, I stuck it in R, backed it out of the garage and got any grime off that she'd picked up. Gratuitous clean shots from today...

I feel like I'm getting there with the engine bay... As I discovered recently on my own Max, taking the top end of the engine out makes a good opportunity to give the area a good clean PS: your expansion tank could do with a flush Nick

Tried to resist...........failed.............SORN removed :-) Well done. Resistance is futile. This will have brought the number of licensed NISSAN MAXIMA V6 S AUTO from 5 to 6 (assuming yours appears like mine on the v5).
