Is that the wedge shaped one? Yup I had one before although a 2.8 V6 One with a V8 should be very good fun! Got a nice picture today showing off the new wheels. I know it needs an inch or so out of the ride height, it is in the list of things to do! I have a set of adjustable coil overs if interested?

Thanks for the offer but it is already on GAZ Golds. Just had it mapped. Making more boost than expected but Shaun is happy that it is safe. I don't think the clutch will last long though, it is FAST! Thankfully it all went without issue, no smoke, no leaks, all safe, all good I will get a video up soon but I cannot get the grin off my face. Shaun estimates 350-400bhp with his butt dyno!

350 seems reasonable with about 8 psi boost. There was a gap with a 4.6 silly cam and Buick heads with twin turbos on his Tvr and he was getting 365 at 8psi and 385 with 10psi 👍🏼

top TOP work! Makes all the right noises and goes like the clappers.
You should be proud of this one :-)
Bit of a coincidence, my dad bought a 4.6 Westfield Seight this week. Not seen it yet but it sounds EPIC :-D

I do like a V8 Westfield! I have got the boost back under control and now stable at 5psi. Feels quite tame now as it was almost hitting a bar before Plan is to get the gearbox out on Friday ready for the new clutch but this might change as I have a lot to do on the Trabant, Land Rover and Cappuccino!

I thought it sounded a bit under pressure on the video , should take 10psi without too much drama and it's always cheaper to turn the boost up rather than down

Gearbox out today ready for the new clutch. The old one was starting to slip after the first day. My friend Lew turned up to help at about 3pm (I already had the car on stands, exhaust off and gearbox drained) but we had the box on the floor by 5pm so probably only 3 hours all in. Unfortunately I died in the process

Took the clutch and flywheel off today. I have a McLeod 10.5" clutch ready to go on but it needs the flywheel re-drilling to fit it. I will get a fresh friction plate and release bearing for it as well, and get the flywheel and pressure plate resurfaced at the same time. I have had the flywheel lightened in the past (21 pounds down from 28 as standard) so would rather nt have to replace it if not needed Bit bigger than standard: Tight fit on the flywheel!

That old clutch doesn't look like it's slipped much. Sure it's not them tyres lighting up. Awesome car and great work. Any regrets on the blow off valve exit location.

It was started slipping in 4th and 5th so backed off after it happened a couple of times hence why it's still pretty good. No regrets with the screamer so far, it sounds evil and has no effect on normal driving so I'm pleased

A cross between and artillery barrage and a helicopter taking off when on full throttle? 😃

Who here likes a before and after picture? Clutch slave cylinder rebuilt Propshaft bare metalled and painted Screamer finishing pieces laser cut and now fitted I will be shortening the screamer a bit one the gearbox is back in (at the moment the back of the engine is supported on a jack) Heavy duty clutch arm turned up. I could have welded a bit of plate onto my old one but oh well I have also bought an action camera with external mic so expect some better videos once she is back on the road
