Do wantCheck out the link for the most awesome tat/car collection evAh. Kinda shame to see all the cars sitting rotting away, but kinda cool as well.

The green one is appearing for at least the 4th time here but I do like it. There's room in the bay for a 4.2 V8 and I have never seen one get the right treatment.

Deeply suspicious.

Deeply suspicious. Not necessarily. It depends a) how quickly they need the cash and b) their overall ability to do it; I.e. health /rattles piggy bank to see if there's 1.5 mill = £750k. Finds 75p

THE CAR IS A FOUR DOOR WICH HAS BEEN MADE TO LOOK LIKE A 2 DOOR BUT CAN BE MADE BACK IN TO A FOUR DOOR,
Does this mean that he's bolted up the rear doors and fillered over the gap?

That house and collection of a zillion cars and parts has been on eBay before. Theres some great rare and period stuff there and theres a lot of tat. The thing is with anything like that to sell it all off at market value would take 10 people 100 years.
Shame if those Granadas get bangered. I'd like to own a Mk1 before they are all gone or too expensive.
I'd like that Corona. But no chance at the mo.

Yeah just looking through the wheels collection at the house and random engine collection is enough to make me sallivate. But as you say it would take a whole lot of people to go through the stuff. Reckon there is one helluva spares haul, hope some w%*&$^ developer doesn't get hold of the land, bulldoze it all and scrap it - i remember that's what happened to one of the biggest scrap yards (like the size of a small town) in arizona a while back.

depends where it is.
The problem in Arizona (and why a mate of mine moved out and went to live back in Florida) is that a lot of Californians have moved out to Az to escape the rocketting house prices round LA, so theres a fair pressure to build new houses. The next thing is that these LA yuppies then say "poo, look a nasty scrap years in our neighbourhood, lets campaign to get that shut down!!!"
My mate was fed up with creeping "clean up" legislation and greater restictions on stuff like working on your own car and stuff. Place is becoming "another Kalifornia" so he left.
I understand a lot of the junk yards have relocated further out into the desert.
Thing is this is what happens when ou get fully residential areas, people living away from their own work/industry and expect to be able to sustain communities fully like this. Its bad.
