Its a gun and compressor. I did the bumper last night and its much better. I think I've finally got the hang of it.
There were a couple of runs in the clearcoat when I had the gun adjusted wrong. (you screw the thingy in to increase flow I assumed you screwed it out).
Pics will go in my build thread.

You've probably just nipped through the clear in spots where the base was high (bits of dust etc etc). Only worry about it if you can see it and it bugs you.
As above though, I'd be surprised if you've got a 1k clear hard enough to buff as quick as this without baking it. I bet you can stick your fingernail in it? The problem with flatting and buffing too soon is that the paint is still moving and shrinking, so any imperfections will come back through.

Why are you using single pack when you have a gun and compressor? I presumed it was aerosols you were using.

Check my build I'm using 1k clear. I sprayed the base coat and then 3 good coats of clear. Leave 2 weeks then flat with 1500 then 2500 paper then compound. Do not wax for a few months!!
It's too early to be buffing

How is 2 pack poison if you wear a good quality spray mask?! I spray 2 pack paints, lacquer and primer every 2nd day.
