i'll try keep the thread relevent to the rwd conversion ...
the original engine and box have been removed...the originall 318 prop is still in place so its keeping the new engine and box to far forward...
engine ...b234...areo flywheel...tdo4 15t turbo...front mount intercooler.....3" down pipe.....stage 2 ecu
vauxhaull omega v6 R25/28 manual gearbox
20mm alloy spacer for clutch slave cylinder....off ebay..
iv been told that the props on some bmw's are a straight fit my e46 318ti compact is much smaller...will go find a breaker for a larger flanged prop and slightly shorter..the prop on this build will hopefully dictate where the engine and box will be mounted....
on the saab engine the sump is set up for fwd and the e46 cross member sits where the oil pick up strainer would be so I'm going to build a sump..the saab sump is alloy and i don't have a tig so i will be fabricating the sump from mild steel and a mig welder.....
