Well, every time I come on here to reply I feel like a girl who just saw her teenage crush.
Those "Greedy boards" as they are known here look great.
The fact you slanted them at the back, makes it look even faster standing still.
The BMX video was rather special and I absolutely envy the skills you guys have.
Going to miss this thread big time when you move to the next build.

Thanks everyone for the continued support. It's very nice of you all, thanks! Ok, There are a bunch of real small jobs left. Not too much. Lights, radiator overflow bottle, front bumper, rear window seals and license plates. It's not going to be long now. It's cold outside, but the snow melted and it's GOT TO start becoming springtime soon. We need to drive this thing! I will admit, some seams are visible in the carpet and the headlining pretty much sucks because it's made from an old X Games nylon banner that was similar to a parachute. I don't care. The interior is much better than it was supposed to be. It's got heat, a compass, fuel/trip computer, power steering, power brakes, AWD/4x4, about 400HP, automatic transmission, cruise control and it's well insulated. When you're inside of it, it sounds really quiet. Parking it? Seems like a modern car. The road test will tell the TRUE tale.

Looking at the Binder on your drive way like that makes me feel as if you are going to make a very tidy profit come sale time. It really appeals to me and there is enough left to do that somebody could make a few changes, once in their possession, to truly make it their own. Still think the white Walls and steels will be the finishing touch. Please video the first drive, we have shared this much would be good to be there for the 'money shot'. I think that at this point the only thing I can add is that had I had the dosh (no idea what final price will be) you would be getting ready to load that baby on the trailer and counting the cash by now.
Just perfect.

If I could make a living doing stuff like this, I would quit my regular job in a heartbeat. This doesn't seem like work. It seems like play. It seems like I'm building a model kit and I'm 12 years old again. Except these big models, you get to drive!
And yes, the steel wheels are coming on Saturday. ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png)

It has a front bumper and turn signals. Working on the headlights and the rear lights. Hopefully wheels tomorrow. Paperwork to register it in a couple weeks. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

Here is the update. The steel wheels didn't happen this weekend, we're both too busy to do 6 hours of driving round trip, to get together on them. Not to worry, they're sitting there waiting. I drove it around the front yard. It rides great and shifts fine, feels like a modern car. Didn't rattle either. I still have to get it road legal and properly test it. I will do that soon. Yes the boards come off if you don't like them. Air shocks are a possibility on the rear, to raise the ass end up slightly. (they're cheap, like 60 bucks) It has Power Steering, Power brakes with 4wheel ABS, heat & defrost, AWD/4x4 with lock out HI and LO, performance air filter (lol) and exhaust, a trip computer & compass, modern fuel gauge & OBDII port, No check engine lights, Cruise control, tilt wheel, adjustable pedals. It also has four wheel disc brakes and a four link rear end, all standard OEM kit. Independent front suspension as well. Stock light switch and turn signal stalk. Estimated 400HP Hemi 5.7L engine with four speed automatic transmission and tow hitch. Please place your best guess as to what amount I should start the sale price at. Why? Because it's fun and I will be very realistic when I list it for sale, after a proper road test. You sir, are a legend. To turn this around in 6 months from getting the Dodge & less than 4 for the International. That's a piece of work I'm sure Roadkill would love.

Not sure what the market forces are like in your area but I would say a fair starting price would be $15-18K. I would expect the final buy price to be in the low to mid 20's if you can find the right buyer. Now watch me be completely wrong... P. ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png)

Based on the feedback I'm getting from the internet world, it's worth much more in the UK. In a couple weeks I'll stick it on Fleabay and see what it does. The guesstimate that I have in my head in USD, is really low because I watch some big name auctions and for 20K you can get some restored stuff that makes this seem less than stellar. However, I have heard from TV people that sometimes the resto-mod stuff and the rat rod stuff can bring more than the restored stuff these days. It'll be fun to see. One thing is certain, with what it owes me, I'm not losing any money on this one! Hooray!

Roadkill is an inspiration, those guys are cool. Smart, talented and entertaining. From the time I brought the international home until right now, yeah- it's like 3 months "ish". I've had projects drag on for more than a year at a time and that saps the enthusiasm out of me. I like to get them in, get them out and move on to the next thing. The hunt, the chase and the deal of selling at the end, is just as exciting as the build itself! I really wish this was my job, but alas, I am just a guy in a garage with a grinder, a welder and a heck of a lot of ambition. Love this board, it's very supportive.

I really like it. Going by what some other trucks (eg Chevolet 3100) are listed at, I think £15-20k would be reasonable. Fantastic thread Cheers Duncan
