Jaguar XJ8 Sport 3.2 litre v8
Mileage 10700 will go up slightly as i do use the car on occasion.
Tax N/A however due to this being taxed as my disabled car youll need to take v5 to post office and they will send it off and get your tax done all at once easy peasy.
MOT December 2016
Price :£1000
So, the good points.
Engine replacement at 74000 miles, paperworks there to prove, done by fenn motor works
.
Loads upon loads of work done myself including fresh spark plugs, oil etc
Also a lot of work on the interior electrics, as pretty much EVERY bulb was blown out and owner prior to myself decided to bodge LED strips in above ..was ridiculous, anyway 90% of the bulbs are done with blue LEDS, however i have ICE blue ones coming to match the cluster better. As the cluster is a ice blue but the rest are a warmer darker blue. Only bulbs that need doing are the rear passenger window switches both sides, and the map light in the roof as thats original greenish still, original radio is still fitted so thats also the oem green.
Car runs absolutely fantastic, cycles through the gears perfectly. Howls nicely too when you put your foot down.
There is a tow bar, ive taken the attachment point off, the ball or whatever its called but obviously thats all included in the sale.
Brand new 4 GT Radial tyres and good spare in the boot, pirelli i believe.
Plenty of history of the cars past however nothing in the official service book which is a real shame.
Bad points!
Headlining ..what headlining, previous owner decided to rip the material out and leave the board in. /sigh
Bodywork, presentable, rust wise arches are fine however drivers side wing where the mudflap is, thats rotting but thats the only rot ive seen, underneath the car is actually rather clean. Paintwork isnt amazing, its had a blow over in its life and you can tell, especially as the original pinstripe goes awry in a few places, the rear boot had a stupid spoiler on, the holes ..well they have plugs in for now but whoever fitted the spoiler didnt seal it correctly, so the holes are rusting, really it would be ideal to get a replacement lid.
Interior, drivers seat is a bit worn but no holes, the veneer is fine however some wazzock drilled two holes in the gear shift veneer section, god knows why.
The bonnet..it has a massive sodding leaper on it that slides off leaving the base, you could lob the leaper at someone and kill with it, if you are into that kind of thing this is a good point not a bad point but hey ho, but again if you unscrew off the base, it will leave holes in the bonnet.
Cant think anything else, i am probably making it sound a lot worse than it is, with a wash and polish it looks really presentable to be honest. Far more so than when i purchased it.
I want to use the term "its a old car marks to be expected" but it isnt right to say as a jaguar doesnt deserve it..bit of a cop out saying that.
Ill update the thread with pics as i go.
