Yes I would. My estate had rot a lot lot lot less worse than that in the same place (just a couple of bubbles). When I got the wing off the water had rusted through the section underneath it, and into the inner wing and rotted that. Also a lot of the floor in the corner under it was damp and rotten. Matt

So what you're saying is that now would be a good time to invest in one or two of them!!! Dammit, my driveway's full, and I know where there's a few lying around too!! I think they're intended for bangering. Well i'd find out what they intend to use first. I'm guessing Gene will have been promoted in the intervening years so he may have a Granny this time round. If so buy Granny's sell Corty's oooh it's like the stock exchange! Don't panic! In the next series Gene's car will be an Audi Quattro. So buy one now!

Matt OK, But only if someone can sell me a good replacement pair on the cheap as I'm going to need them really. It might have a few problems at MOT time otherwise.

The MIA vendor of the white Mk3 I was lusting over has made contact so I may be going for that one if I can convince SWMBO that its not insane money for "a curse word old car".
Plan B, ropey red Mk5.
