Well what have you been moving forward with? Show us your progress. I wish I could show you some progress, in fact I feel guilty that I don't have anything to show (which I guess is the point of the thread )... so you'll have to inspire me to not be so shoddy next week.

Had my mate down in Oz order two spun aluminum donuts from are.com.au/products/Aluminium%20Bends.htm#Donuts for me. I am using them to make my new inlet manifold to fit four Weber DCNF40s to my Daimler 2.5 liter V8 Hemi First I thought I'd fit an Eaton M62 supercharger to it, but backfires and supercharged projectiles scare me so settled for carbs

Started finishing up the rear arches on this, both were heavily rotten and a few weeks back had new metal welded in to hold it together until RRG - now I need to get them nice and smooth and then paint, the trouble is getting it to match considering the car is 4-5 different shades of green all over! Doing bodywork is my enemy :/

I just got sent this list of jobs done to my Volvo estate so far, the exhaust is being finished for it today. 3in stainless steel with a down turned rear pipe Fuel pipes / reg etc Engine earth Alt wiring Starter wiring FBW throttle body fitting Injectors Exhaust studs, gaskets Water pipes Gear linkage Engine mounts Gearbox mounts Bay wiring Air temp sensor fitting Ecu loom Strut tops Coils + bracket Fuel pump relay Battery cables Fan relay Resettable fuse / cut out Dizzy delete Airflow delete I'm not doing the work, but all in all I'm pretty chuffed. An uprated cambelt landed from America yesterday, so a projected fire up date should be on the cards for mid October at the latest. Here's what all the work is being done to. www.speedhunters.com/2015/08/fuel-brains-fixes-volvo-goes-legit/

So I am hoping for 20bhp gain on carbs with programmable ignition. That would take me to 170-180bhp region. Would love to see 200bhp but then I would have to port the heads and install a hotter camshaft.

Had the local gov. visit after half a year's harassment from the police regarding my cars, it ended up being a show and tell tour of my workshop and collection, and the gov. folks writing a sharply worded letter to the fuzz to leave me the CURSEWORD alone or else, so all in all, a good day! Enjoying a beer and some anti-police songs atm to celebrate

MG: Dizzy, heater hose, heater valve and starter motor removed. Little steps closer to getting the engine out Saab: Suspension seems to have settled? Also sorting order for new wheel to complete my set at last! BMW: Replacement pair of angel eyes arrived from China and work! getting fitted when theres a break in the rain to let me fetch the headlight from the car Also been considering my options for daily driving as I'm not sure the 9-3/750i combo is a long term solution...

I've taken a long hard look at my 'b and decided I need to get it mot'd, why do I always lose motivation at the point its almost finished?! For some the quest is the motivation.. not the reward at the end. I'm always amazed by people that build and build and build and then either sell just before complete, or sell after it has done its first couple of shows.
