Delivery Run Brum London Midlands August 31st onwards
We have dozens upon dozens of various BMWs from 1973-2003 dismantled, and every so often, we fill the van up and go for a drive.
We're based in Northern Ireland so everything needs shipped all the time, but on these occasions you can meet us along our route and pick your stuff up, free of courier/freight delivery costs.
We do this every few months, all via the forums but for the first time we're also letting people know via facebook. How it works is once whatever you're after is sorted out, you pay us a deposit, typically 25%, and then the balance in cash. We've brought over M5 engines, rare wheels, M3/M5 interiors, complete subframe assemblies, V8 boxes etc, stuff that you don't want to get damaged by a carefree courier.
So, this is typically for interiors, engines, gearboxes, wheels and other bulky parts that are expensive to ship. Or things like body panels that are hard to protect in shipping.
This time we are doing this route:
Monday 31st August:
Dublin-Holyhead (6am)
Chester (8am)
Birkenhead (9am)
Stoke on Trent (11am)
Birmingham (12-1pm) (will stop Walsall area and Solihull area)
Oxford Services M40 (3pm)
Beaconsfield Services M40 (just outside M25) (5pm)
Then once Rush Hour dies down a bit...
St. Albans
Milton Keynes
Northampton
On Tuesday 1st Sept, evening time, we'll take a run down to London again (to the M25 anyway, not inside it). Can deal with more offbeat requirements this day as not so tight on time.
Wednesday 2nd:
Kettering (AM)
Cambridge (lunchtime)
Chelmsford (afternoon)
M25 anti-clockwise, to M1 (evening)
Northampton (late evening)
We've a great deal of parts to collect in this area so we'll be here for a few days. probably will also have one or two drives out to pick up a couple of cars but once those are confirmed we'll add those directions and times into the schedule.
Then, possibly on the Saturday, Sunday or Monday, up the M1 along the lines of
Leicester 11am
Notts 12pm
Leeds 2pm
Newcastle 4pm
Edinburgh 6pm
Inverness 9pm (yes, really going that far)
and a few days later, Inverness - Perth - Glasgow - Ayr - Stranraer (that will be late evening to make an early morning ferry)
There isn't the space to list everything we have but we'll put up a few of the more likely parts in another post soon. For now, see if you're able to meet us along this route and if there is anything you need, feel free to ask.
