I recently acquired this Rascal after swapping my Metro for it, I'd always fancied one and this one came up locally so thought it was worth a look. In hindsight I should've probably test driven it before swapping because it's definitely too small for me to drive it comfortably. I'm around 6ft3 and quite a big guy so really should have seen it coming but I can fit in my Alto reasonably so thought there would be a chance of doing the same in this!
The Rascal starts and drives quite well, I've driven it around the yard and my girlfriend has driven it along a private road managing to get up through the gears and up to 50 before running out of road.
When I got it, it was just back from being resprayed (by an apprentice bus painter) it's not the best job put is presentable, there's still a few bits to be fitted including the grille and a headlight surround. It needs a pair of indicator lenses, mirrors and wiper arms to complete, Apparently they were in a box inside the bus depot and were run over by a bus.

As you can see, there's some over spray on the tyres so they would be better getting replaced, one of them doesn't hold air so I trial fitted a slotmag which isn't included in the sale.

A weekends work should see it on the road, Currently no mot and I'm awaiting the v5 having only got the Rascal last Sunday.
Ideally I'm looking for a swap for something bigger.
