Thankyou for the kind words, guys One tiny nit pick (and I hate doing this) the "Austin" van gasser is a Morris Z. Otherwise highly entertaining and insightful. Oooops, so it is My bad. IIRC the Nogbad thing was an Austin... I think I might have been bamboozling myself there! Oh and the "Zephyrs" are both Zodiacs but it's still a Z so you're forgiven! Steve Remember I said I can never tell Pops/Prefects/Anglias apart? That goes for Zephyrs and Zodiacs too, clearly I have a mental block about it... start thinking "is it a Zephyr Zodiac or the other way round?". And then I go the opposite way cos I know I always get it wrong and somehow still always get it wrong. Although on this occasion, you'd have thought I could have just read the letters on the damn bonnet Still, always good to be pulled up on these things, or I'll never get it right. Cheers! There are actually 2 different models of Zodiac pictured, the nearer one is a "hi-line (56-57) and the yellow one is a lowline (58-62) before you go mad its to do with the roofline, the earlier car is more bulbous above the gutter. Hi-line also has painted headlamp bezels. Gosh this anorak is too warm to wear indoors! Steve

Well that brightened up my day. Thank you kindly sir of snapping a couple of pics of my challenger, especially on the M1 I have not got any of the old girl on the move before. Was a great day with stunning cars (and some fast one's too) On another note original plum crazy 71 challys are quite rare now Your Challenger brightened up our day on the M1, too Thanks for that! It was bit tricky to get a decent photo of her from a moving Fiesta with two fat blokes in it, lol I believe you were at the Brooklands American Muscle day with it Sunday just gone too? I papped it again when it was on the end of a fine line-up of Challengers. Mind you, like you say a plum crazy Challenger with by far the best front end of any of the designs is a rare beast now and it stands out even in a line of Hellcats Yep guilty as charged I will be there again on the 6th of Sept for another big mopar gathering,Come over and say hello(I have long hair so you can't miss me) I would love to drive one of them there Hellcats mine is a good driver not a show car really I am saving up to do it properly one day.Are you local to brooklands then?

I'll come and say Hi next time then! You shouldn't sell your car short; I love it exactly because it's a driver. Yeah, it has a few rough edges here and there but that's what gives it character and I'd rather see well-used cars that are also well-loved than they get taken to bits and spend ten years in restoration, never seeing the light of day. I saw there was a do on 6th September, that ought to be a good weekend as it's the Brighton Speed Trials on the Saturday, I think. Glad to see Brooklands are letting the American muscle contingent back after they banned the Mustang crowd after burnouts and whatnot at last years' show. I'm 45 minutes away, down in Worthing on the coast Nice to see my old 56 still looking fresh after all these years, remind me again why I sold it.... P. You've got me there, to be honest. It's bloody lovely

Missed this when you first put it up, just read through it. Fantastic write up as always - it's always enjoyable reading you show reports (and other posts for that matter), but damn you, i've got Suzy Q stuck in my head now
