Just had a beautiful e280 come in with full service history and only 48,000 miles. Owned by a guy who lives in Canada. The car is only used when he comes to visit his mum otherwise it's parked in the garage. Sadly his mother passed away so his visits here are no more. The car is in stunning condition and it's the Elegance model with grey leather. Nice midnight blue colour with a/c and glass sunroof. She drives silky smooth with an auto box.. Even the digital dash screens are in full working order with no silly pixel issues

3. GLWS. Difficult to argue with the price too much - as there's very little in this condition to compare it to. I hope you get your price dude.

Gents thank you for the comments. Price wise I'm trying to go by the current climate which isn't to good as trade due to summer and others on ebay and autotrader. Seen some with 130,000 going for £2495 and some other rot boxes at £1395. I think £2000 is a good price for this, well a lot of car for the money. I took this to the uxbridge car show and had a good amount of attention. She is an absolute pleasure to drive and very tight. You can here the engine at all and no creeks or funny noises from the interior or suspension. Really does feel like driving a new car. If trade picks up and a few others sell I think this might have to be a keeper

Another reason is people associating the w210 model with rust issues, whilst they do suffer more than other mercs if a potential owner wants one this looks lovely and worth every penny, I'm on my second one which is in top condition ,,if Id seen this one before I'd got mine I would have looked at it ,I can't recommend these cars enough superb cars, that one will find an owner soon, don't drop the price it's bang on the money at the price you've put on it

I keep coming back to this car, but they're awkward buggers. An 'Inbetweener' if you like. If I did few enough miles to justify a huge  petrol car like this - then the 16 MPG around town would keep me awake at night. I'd always be thinking "I spend so little time behind the wheel, I could do this in a Toyota Starlet and take the saving". If I did enough miles to justify a huge barge like this, I'd be a fool not to look at the diesels which are also excellent. The perfect buyer for this is my Dad, who wants a respectable looking car to discretely carry him around in comfort. Not sure how any 60 year olds in chino's there ARE on RR, but GLWS nonetheless. |
