Fuel pump was delivered today - its now stashed with the new brake hoses, ball joints, water pump, thermostat etc. waiting for the time to come. Some more sandblasting was done yesterday, I'll hopefully get it all painted at the weekend.

I approve Many thanks, its a shame that so little of this work will be seen on the finished article though! Been down the unit again today, more parts have been hand stripped for painting. The stuff I painted yesterday came out very reasonably considering the time of year. Behold the blackness up close - The whole "trying to avoid damaging paint" gig starts here!

	Got some more bits painted earlier - Springs were awkward, but perseverance was rewarded. ARBs were awkward etc.... Shocks were easy Cross member had to be suspended by the bump stop holes to enable it all to be painted in one hit.

	A few more pieces were prepared for painting today. I'll get them painted tomorrow before the weather gets too cold for it. All the painted bits have been shifted out of the way for when the main weldist comes over. He hurt his back at work a couple of weeks ago, but hopefully he'll be reet for the weekend......

I made a start on cleaning up the steering rack too - got the worst of the crud off, just need to finish up all the nooks and crannies next time I'm down there. One day there'll be no more cleaning of rank parts left to do!

	More preparation for black paint today - Brake servo was a bit rusty, but cleaned up well Brake lines off the rear axle still had most of the factory paint on them. Prop shaft was the biggest, but easiest job of the day Rear axle/diff next on the hit list.

	Cheers Richard! The paint used is POR15 semi gloss black - its a bit of a faff to do it right, but its good stuff.

	Got a few bits painted in the kitchen this morning - the stink of paint will probably be around for a while! Most of today has been spent trying to find a new clutch release bearing, and after many hours of internet action, I finally found one.

	It's a fair way off yet, but I'm really looking forward to driving it again - more so after another afternoon cleaning the back axle ready for paint. The worst is done, just need to finish up the fiddly bits. Only the engine left to do as far as messy clean ups go!

I hope to have it done some time over the Summer (should be do-able so long as all goes to plan!) My mate Sam from the unit next door kindly welded in the piece I made for the spring seat. I ground it back myself, now hopefully I can get this all cleaned up ready to paint this week.

	My mate John has made a start on replacing what's been cut out. There wasn't much time today, but progress was made! The nearside arch/wheel tub/sill end is now tacked into place - just needs welding in on the next session.
